Established in 2007, as a spin-off of Forship Engenharia Ltda, the HMSWeb Tecnologia da Informação LTDA is a company specialized in development of IT solutions for the management and control of engineering projects. Its main product, and the inspiration for the company name, is the HMSWeb© software, Handover Management System, a complete solution for management of the mechanical completion and commissioning of technical facilities.
The HMSWeb© software was created due to Forship Engenharia need for an efficient tool to manage commissioning activities of large engineering and infrastructure projects. Since the very first first commissioning project and early contact with some tools then used with that purpose, the importance of developing a complete, coherent solution was evident.
Forship Engenharia, as a company specialized in commissioning of large projects, was naturally positioned to have a holistic view of the end-to-end process and develop a software tools tailor made to organize and manage efficiently complex commissioning projects. Based on a solid foundation of the experience gathered in more than 40 commissioning projects and several million man-hours in this area, HMSWeb© was designed and developed.
Thus, the product is a specialized tool with great value added, which was created from real and pressing needs, and carries in its DNA the engineering knowledge of this discipline
